Additionally, the program will also extend volunteering opportunities for those who possess experience in the area, and want to give back to the community.Overview of the role This role will further develop the processes and procedures of the program including but not limited to Operational, Governance, Clinical Protocols and Evaluation & Management Framework. This role will have two main aspects to it: Operational coordination and Client/Stakeholder Engagement.  Operational elements include maintenance of vehicles and coordinating volunteer availability. Client and Stakeholder elements include booking journeys and liaising with health service providers and other integral stakeholders.As this is a new program, the Program Coordinator, Flying Doctor Memory Lane will need to take a continuous quality improvement approach to improve/alter the service as required. Focusing on volunteer recruitment and retention, service planning, client liaison and stakeholder relationship management to ensure effective and timely delivery of Memory Lane service.Key Selection CriteriaQualifications or extensive experience in program management or a related fieldExperience maintaining and building relationships with stakeholders, ideally in a healthcare or aged care environmentDemonstrated understanding and experience with supporting and communicating with clients at end of life and their carersExperience in program development and implementationExperience in the management of volunteersExcellent computer skillsThe ability to travel as requiredThis is a rare opportunity to work for an iconic Australian organisation that promotes a supportive and inclusive working culture.
