Program Coordinator – Dental

We strive towards improving the health and well-being of our rural communities and believe in creating opportunities, so all Victorians have the choice to access essential primary healthcare services. The Role:Royal Flying Doctor Service is seeking a Program Coordinator to join our Dental team based in Richmond. The Program Coordinator will work with the FDDC Operations Team Leader and Health Services Manager to deliver a high-quality program that meets its objectives. You will be responsible for managing the dental assistants to ensure excellence in clinical safety and quality.This role also requires travelling to locations throughout Victoria as per a pre-determined schedule to work clinically, provide supervision and complete audits.Qualifications and Experience:A minimum of 5 years experience in either of the following:     As a Clinical Dental AssistantPractice Manager or relevant Oral HealthHealth Administration degree and experienceStrong knowledge of safety and compliance guidelines within a hospital settingRelevant Management experiencePrevious experience with the use of TitaniumExcellent computer skills and experience using all Microsoft Office applications.To be successful in this role you will have the following:Well-developed, infection control and administrative skillsAbility to manage and mentor staff for high performanceStrong sense of accountability and driveExcellent attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to work as part of a team.If this sounds like the opportunity you’ve been looking for and you’re passionate about making a difference in the lives of regional and rural Victorians, then send through a copy of your resume and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role by COB Friday 25 November 2022.Please note applicants must have full, unrestricted Australian working rights and will be required to provide a satisfactory police check and Victorian WWCC if successful.Due to the large volume of applications received RFDS will only be contacting those shortlisted for interviews.
