We strive towards improving the health and wellbeing of our rural communities and believe in creating opportunities so all Victorians have the choice to access essential primary health care services. Payroll Officer- TechOne payroll savvy candidatesA Part-time maternity leave opportunity for an experienced payroll officer, plus superannuation and salary packaging. RFDS are now accepting applications for Payroll Officers with experience in fortnightly high volume payroll processing.  The payroll officer is responsible for the provision of effective and efficient payroll processing and systems administration. It requires a high level of initiative in managing workload, responding to requests and adapting to a changing environment.The Payroll Officer reports directly to the Payroll Manager within the People and Culture department. There is a direct relationship for all matters related to employment conditions, rates of pay and HR related matters.This role will suit a results driven, team orientated professional with the following skills, experience and attributesKey Selection Criteria Competence and experience in the use of payroll packages, preferably Technology One payroll software, Excel ( pivot tables and v look ups) EmpLive time and attendance software and other IT programs would be desirableStrong problem solving, analytical and quantitative skillsHigh volume payroll experience ( approx. 500 staff)Demonstrated working knowledge of relevant Industrial Acts, Superannuation Guarantee Legislation, Awards and Agreements.Highly effective time management skills including the ability to plan, organise, multi task and work under pressure in a high volume work environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide high level reports and present findings to inform decision makingDemonstrated ability to work autonomously in a collaborative manner across numerous business unitsExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate, motivate, consult and negotiate, while building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholder groupsEnthusiasm, creativity, dedication and an open mindThis is a rare opportunity to work for an iconic Australian organisation that promotes a supportive and inclusive working culture.
