Responsible for managing ICT infrastructure and providing technical support to both internal and external stakeholders, the successful applicant will undertake both BAU as well as project work with a strong focus on security management. Based in our Richmond Head Office and reporting directly to the General Manager  Corporate Services, the IT Infrastructure Manager will also oversee one direct report in this role and as such people management experience will be essential. Based out of our Richmond Head office, this role will be required to conduct bi-monthly travel across the state to provide support to regionally located branches (dependant on pandemic restrictions), therefore a drivers licence will be required.About YouAn experienced IT Manager, you will be able to demonstrate your experience in successful end-to-end project delivery.You display a mature attitude and can work remotely and independently without supervision.As a flexible thinker, you have highly developed troubleshooting and problem solving skills and can demonstrate patience and grace when dealing with end users.You understand and value the idea of teamwork, you can demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills and work cohesively within a small and supportive team.Your ability to manage and nurture relationships with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally is second nature and you take pride in representing yourself and the organisation.You have a passion for helping others and understand the mission of the Flying Doctors, and as such are able to demonstrate a high degree of presentation and professionalism in your daily dealings with both internal and external stakeholders.Key Tasks and ResponsibilitiesDesign, manage and implement ICT Systems and Network Infrastructure across our branches in VIC, TAS, ACT and parts of NSW.Manage and deliver on the full lifecycle of ICT Projects.Provide regular reporting to the Executive team and Board on IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security.Plan and implement the IT roadmap to support the business overall strategic plan.Provide level 2 & 3 service desk escalation support.Manage and implement physical and cyber security procedures and practices.Qualifications and ExperienceRelevant tertiary education in IT or related fieldMinimum 5 years’ experience in a similar IT Manager roleHands on experience in an IT infrastructure positionMicrosoft, CISCO, ITIL or CISCO certification an advantageDemonstrated experience in Project ManagementExperience with AWS Technologies and ServicesHighly developed communication, trouble shooting and problem solving skillsApplicants must have full, unrestricted Australian working rights and will be required to provide a satisfactory police check and Victorian WWCC if successful.This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of the Flying Doctors and effect real change in the lives of regional and rural Victorians.
