About the role: The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Victoria is seeking a General Practitioner to support our team in providing quality primary health care in a Full Time or Part Time capacity. Supported by the extensive rural health care expertise of the Flying Doctor, you will play a vital role in the health and wellbeing of a welcoming community that recognises the value of quality care. RFDS Health Group is a newly expanded multi-disciplinary service with a fully equipped and mixed billing medical practice, located on site at the Robinvale District Health Service. There is the ability live and work in Robinvale, or live nearby in the regional city of Mildura and commute (travel time not included in contract arrangements). Offering a unique opportunity for a doctor looking to establish themselves within the team and be supported by RFDS Vicotria, the local community and extensive network of providers and services – including educational opportunities in nearby Mildura. You will work closely with our Medical Director and onsite GP Clinical Lead, who has been the Practice Principal in Robinvale for almost 5 Years, as well as have the support from local nursing and pharmacy staff.Doctors from the clinic provide services and have visiting rights to the Robinvale District Health Service, and support urgent and aged care. The hospital is located within walking distance to the clinic, making it easily accessible.Our General Practitioners do not work in emergency retrieval. There are opportunities to further expand your skills in remote community clinics to those who show skills and interest in this work.
